John Clipson
We are sorry and saddened to hear of the passing of our member and friend John Clipson, on 5th July 2024.
John’s funeral will take place in Salisbury Cathedral at 15.00 on the 23rd July 2024.
John’s partner Sonia, will be pleased to see as many fellow Probus members as possible at the service. Further details to follow when available.

ANTHONY JOHN POWELL MBE
With great sorrow we mark the passing of John Powell MBE on 19th April 2024 after a short illness. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
Typically, John found the time and energy in his last days to script and arrange his funeral service which was held at Salisbury Cathedral on 20th May. A large contingent of Salisbury Probus members attended to pay their respects and to remember a well loved friend.

ERNEST WELLSTED
We are saddened to report the death of Ernest Wellsted, a member of Salisbury Probus since 2021. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
The funeral for Ernest is being held at Bemerton Methodist Church in Roman Road, Salisbury at 12.30pm on Friday 20th October. This will be followed by refreshments in the Church Hall.
The committal will be at Salisbury Crematorium at 3.00pm and is likely to be mainly family.
No flowers please and donations can be made to Salisbury Hospital Hospice.
